Enva Launches New Division
Date: 23 March 2007
Enva Ireland has launched a new division, which will provide a range of specialist drain survey, jetting and cleaning services.
Operating mainly from its EPA licensed facility in Dublin; Enva Underground Services will serve a variety of industrial, commercial, construction and municipal customers.
| It will be headed up by Anthony Mulhall (left), who currently manages Enva’s Field Services and Soil Treatment Divisions, and Cillian Farrell (right), who joins Enva having spent 6 years working in the drain cleaning and CCTV sector. |
| Services offered by this division will include CCTV inspections and reports, high pressure jetting or combined jetting and high vacuum drain cleaning, high-pressure cleaning and de-scaling, high pressure concrete cutting, and sludge or liquid removal. It will also specialise in providing customised maintenance contracts, while its emergency response service will be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. |
| According to Anthony Mulhall; “Over the past few months, we have invested heavily in the latest technology and equipment to ensure that we can offer a high quality and value for money service, that is consistent with Enva’s reputation across the various other sectors in which we operate. All vehicles have also been fully equipped with up-to-date safety equipment, while all our employees are highly trained in providing safe, cost-effective and practical solutions to our customers’ drain management problems, ensuring that operations will cause minimum disruptions to individuals and plant.” |
| An example of such technical innovations, include a number of new CCTV units, which have been custom-built for Enva. These have been fitted with the latest CCTV technology, and contain pan and tilt cameras, as well as built-in locators for accurately pinpointing problems within drains. Customers are provided, with a full colour DVD, a detail technical report including relevant Autocad drawings, as well as guidance on the most appropriate solution to any problem found. Enva promise to have reports on customers’ desks within three working days of the completed survey, but if there are any major faults or problems, these are notified immediately. |
| Prior to becoming a division of Enva, these operations traded as MacAnulty Clear Drains. Anthony Mulhall pointed out that: “Bringing these operations in under the Enva name will make our customers more aware of the very broad range of environmental services offered by our company, and will allow us to better leverage efficiencies with other divisions within Enva, especially the closely related division of Field Services.” |
| Employing over 220 people, Enva currently have three other EPA licensed facilities in the Republic of Ireland, in Portlaoise, Cork and Shannon. We also have operations in Northern Ireland and the UK. Enva Ireland’s other divisions include; Field Services, Soil Treatment, Hazardous Waste, Industrial & Automotive, and Water Treatment. |
