Job Title: Technical Sales Representative
Reporting to: Sales Manager - Hazardous Waste
Division: Hazardous Waste
Region: Based in Shannon – must be flexible for travel within Republic of Ireland
Overview of Division:
The Hazardous Waste division of Enva provides a range of treatment and recovery solutions for a wide variety of chemical waste streams and related waste produced by a wide range of industries all over Ireland. The Hazardous Waste division's portfolio of services includes waste recovery & recycling, treatment and export, with the emphasis on providing fully regulated, traceable and responsible treatment solutions to our customers.
Main Purpose of Role:
- To actively sell Enva Hazardous Waste Services with a view to sustaining current business and securing future new contracts.
General Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop an in-depth knowledge of the range of services which Enva Hazardous Waste Division provides and an excellent knowledge of the waste management/ environmental industry.
- Work closely with the management team to develop a sales plan for the region, incorporating current and future business.
- Establish and develop links with current customers within the hazardous waste division and ensure that sales are being maximised.
- Investigate potential new business in the hazardous waste division throughout the region.
- Work with business development and marketing to follow through on all potential business until it is either secured or otherwise.
- Provide weekly reports on sales calls to current and potential future business.
- Research competitors, market changes and develop sales initiatives to ensure that we remain competitive.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for the division.
- Assist with debt collection as required.

Educational Qualifications Required:
- Science / Environmental qualification is essential.
- Sales / Marketing qualification (desirable, not essential).
Skills / Experience Required:
- Knowledge/ interest in environmental/ waste management industry.
- Experience in a related industry or exposure to target market / customer base relevant to hazardous waste division.
- Sales and customer service experience.
- Ability to work to targets and deadlines.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- PC literate; Microsoft Word, Excel, PowePoint, Outlook, etc.
- Excellent communication skills.
Other:
- Full, clean driving licence essential.

Overview of Division:
The Water Treatment division of Enva specialises in accurately diagnosing water and waste water operating issues and then producing the most appropriate and cost effective solution. Services include the provision of high quality chemicals, lab services, equipment, engineering solutions and consultancy. The Water Treatment Sales Team is responsible for the conversion of new business and management of existing business in both water and wastewater treatment.
